How we use your email
We use the email address you enter to send you a link that confirms your order, then the Report, and to tell you when a queued test has run. Opening the confirmation link confirms that the address is yours. Nothing is tested before that, and an order not confirmed within 24 hours is deleted.
Ticking “Shoplab may contact me about the result” is optional and separate. Only then may Shoplab contact you about the result. We never pass your address on to anyone else.
You can withdraw that consent at any time: open the “Withdraw consent” link in the email with your Report and on the Report, and confirm. After that Shoplab will not contact you, and we keep your address as if you never consented.
Without that consent we delete your email address 90 days after your latest test. With consent we keep it for 12 months after your latest test. Reports, screenshots and recordings are deleted 12 months after the test.
To have your data deleted sooner, reply to the email with your Report.
